KIT KAT®, an innovative brand with global excitement, was declining vs. total chocolate growth at Walmart. We re-ignited shoppers’ love affair with KIT KAT®, by launching new limited-edition flavors, starting with the highly anticipated Birthday Cake flavor. The suite of elements included a social influencer campaign + digital media + in-store POS. Results: Revenue was 2.5 times higher than target; 90% market share topped our goal of 85%; engagements exceeded goal 14-fold.
